@ChelseaFC The first half was horrible from our team. They were not playing as a team and if this continue in second half, we are definitely losing to a very poor side, Manchester United.
I’ve made some “unusual” career choices in life. As a teenager, I decided at age 13 that I would have a career in the international civil service @UN . Most of my mates were interested in legal practice (I studied law as first degree, and then went first into the media!),business
@Rufyb It's a crazy world in investment banking world. Max rate they can get on that deal is 2%, which is very unlikely. Which is less than 100m all the 6 firms would share after months of work.

Customs officers have traditionally overvalued imports as a way of forcing importers to bribe them rather than pay the govt. I exposed this in an undercover investigation in 2015:

Real GDP growth will average 4.0% per annum between 2025 and 2029. Inflation will moderate – facilitated by statistical base effects and greater exchange rate stability – improving the purchasing power of households and supporting a recovery in private consumption. #Nigeria’s strategic location also makes it an ideal gateway to wider West Africa, offering businesses opportunities for access to and expansion into regional markets.
🛢️#Oil dominates Nigeria’s #export basket. Output at the Dangote refinery will likely exceed domestic demand, enabling Nigeria to become a net fuel exporter for the first time, supporting export growth. The increase in capital requirements by the @cenbank, announced in March 2024, has strengthened the resilience of the financial sector, fostered consolidation and created opportunities for growth. The current administration has enacted business-friendly policies, including fuel subsidy removal and foreign exchange reforms aimed at easing dollar shortages.

These zones provide incentives such as duty-free imports, tax exemptions and capital repatriation, with permits allowing 100% domestic sales. Nigeria’s pharmaceutical sector offers significant investment opportunities, driven by government schemes such as the Presidential Initiative to Unlock the Healthcare Value Chain (PVAC). Backed by a USD1 billion memorandum of understanding (MoU) with the @afreximbank in February 2024, PVAC has facilitated the establishment of over 70 healthcare manufacturing companies.

Sometimes it feels like we’ve not achieved anything, simply because there’s still so much we want to do.
You’ve paid rent, but you’re thinking about how you haven’t built your house yet. You got a job, but you’re worried because it’s not paying in six figures. You finally finished NYSC, and now you feel behind because others are relocating or “blowing” on Instagram.
We think about these things so much that we forget to appreciate what we have.
Progress isn’t always fast or smooth. Sometimes it’s like Lagos traffic — go small, stop, move again. But you’ll still reach.
Appreciate how far you’ve come.
You sef dey try. Encourage your friends, tell them to KEEP GOING.
We’ll get there.
According to compound interest calculator, if I keep doing what I have been doing for another 15 years, I’d be worth 1.5 billion naira!
Let me write it in numbers, ₦1,550,000,000! Yea, I don’t believe this calculator jare 😃😃😃. Time will tell.
@_aaadedapo We aren't talking about how terrible that road is. It has gotten so bad that you must enter potholes between Jakande and Lekki Phase 1.
Lekki Phase 1 - Chevron needs emergency attention. The traffic on the road is everyday including weekends. @jidesanwoolu
@Rufyb The difference is so wide between the asset classes. The gap shows what the investors are more interested in.
High liquidity preference and short term.
I wholeheartedly support his decision to remove her from all the benefits she has been enjoying. The disrespect is too much to harbor such a human being under my roof any longer.
“THE ONE, BIG, BEAUTIFUL BILL” has PASSED the House of Representatives! This is arguably the most significant piece of Legislation that will ever be signed in the History of our Country! The Bill includes MASSIVE Tax CUTS, No Tax on Tips, No Tax on Overtime, Tax Deductions when you purchase an American Made Vehicle, along with strong Border Security measures, Pay Raises for our ICE and Border Patrol Agents, Funding for the Golden Dome, “TRUMP Savings Accounts” for newborn babies, and much more! Great job by Speaker Mike Johnson, and the House Leadership, and thank you to every Republican who voted YES on this Historic Bill! Now, it’s time for our friends in the United States Senate to get to work, and send this Bill to my desk AS SOON AS POSSIBLE! There is no time to waste. The Democrats have lost control of themselves, and are aimlessly wandering around, showing no confidence, grit, or determination. They have forgotten their landslide loss in the Presidential Election, and are warped in the past, hoping someday to revive Open Borders for the World’s criminals to be able to pour into our Country, men to be able to play in women’s sports, and transgender for everybody. They don’t realize that these things, and so many more like them, will NEVER AGAIN happen!
