Dear Alex Onyia @winexviv,
Concerned Nigerians have read your recent tweet where you said the Ministry of Education is demanding total handover of the Olympiads portfolio so they can sponsor them with government funds.
Please don’t fall for the illusion that the federal government is selling you.
They didn’t care about these Olympiads for 7 years. Now that you’ve single-handedly redefined education and put the finest brains among our teens on the global map, they suddenly want to “sponsor” everything.
Don’t let them politicize your hard work, which they will definitely do if you emotionally allow them.
They will introduce tribalism, disqualify the best students, and push incompetent ones forward just as they’ve always done.
Look at our athletes under government sponsorship. How many times have they missed international appearances?
This is classic Tinubu and APC style.
Please protect what you’ve built.
Our children deserve merit, not politics.

Southeast is taking their kids to international competitions,
The southwest is insisting that frying akara and selling kuli-kuli is what the youths should thrive towards,
The north is sponsoring mass weddings & pilgrimage.
We will be here to witness the results from each region in a few years.
Kudos, Alex. God bless! 🙌
Sidny Cabral just scored that banger against Argentina but we won’t ever forget that he swapped shirts with vini after that Benfica racist incident happened, he even got kicked out for it by the club but his values and actions will never be forgotten, wonderful player and person
@Wizarab10 No Nigerian can compete with a Chinese. No Nigerian business or entrepreneur can compete with a Chinese.
Until the government does something that can help people have access to affordable loan, growth will never be wide spread.
I'm thinking we should have an annual Best Teacher Award where the best teacher each year wins ₦100 million.
We can have other categories too.
Something like a Grammy to celebrate and inspire teachers.
What do you think?

THIS IS WHY I STARTED. .
I am a product of a grassroots coach. Someone who showed up for me with no resources, no recognition, just pure belief that I could become something great.
And I did. By God’s grace, I play for @PSG_Feminines and I captain the Super Falcons of Nigeria.
But as my career grew, I started to notice something that broke my heart.
The coaches doing this work every single day across Nigeria on grassroots pitches, in communities, with barely any resources, no one is investing in them.
No certificate. No formal training. No support. Just passion. Just love for the game.
So I made a decision.
I started the Rasheedat Ajibade Foundation NIS Coaching Education Scholarship because I believe that if you invest in the coach, you invest in every single player they will ever coach for the rest of their career and for the rest of their lives.
Behind every great Nigerian athlete is a coach who believed in them first.
Let us invest in those coaches.
If you believe what I believe that Nigerian sport changes from the ground up, not the top down, share this. Invest in this. Be a part of this.

Zinc in the morning. Magnesium at night. Vitamin D with your first meal. Do it for 30 days and tell me your energy, your sleep and your mood didn't completely shift.
I was really low on fuel today but I needed to go pick up my kids from school. I was just praying that the fuel just brings me home. I drove to pick them up in our way back the car stopped in the middle of the road.
Chai, my fears finally came true. I had given my wife all the money I had for house upkeep so I was literally on zeros. One of my clients that supposed to pay for a property on Monday has been delaying.
I didn’t even know what to do.
I called a friend of mine and told him my ordeal. He asked me where I was and I told him.
He didn’t say anything and he hung up.
I was there just contemplating what to do, I decided to call my wife to send me small cash but I couldn’t even leave my kids there to hunt for fuel, plus I didn’t have jerrycan in the car.
While contemplating I saw that my guy driving down. He came out with 5 liters of fuel in a Jerry can. You needed to see my relief. 😮💨
In this life, don’t do it alone. Have people you can call, and also be someone others can call upon.

They will say you are too old for fooling but when this same fooling brings you fame and wealth, they will call it grace.
