We're proud to announce that the Black Women Business Network has received funding from the Government of Canada's Supporting Black Canadian Communities Initiative (SBCCI), delivered by Employment and Social Development Canada to launch the SBCCI AI Upskilling Project.
Through this project, 600 Black professionals across British Columbia, Alberta, and Ontario will receive fully funded foundational AI training, and up to 200 high-readiness participants will advance to eight to fifteen weeks technical bootcamps across three career paths:
🏥 Digital Health Tech - delivered by British Columbia Institute of Technology and UBC Extended Learning
📠 Data and AI Applications - delivered by BrainStation
🎥 Digital Innovation & Creative Tech - delivered by Centre for Digital Media
No prior tech experience required. Training is available in English and French.
AI is reshaping every industry. This initiative ensures Black professionals across Canada have the skills, credentials, and connections to lead in that future.

By God’s grace, be genuinely happy when others are doing well and achieving. Don’t have the attitude of “..I wish it was me..” I wish it was me, indirectly says “i wish it was not them” - Rather say, “ I thank God and rejoice with them, Mine is around the corner.”

“Critically analyze your previous response, note what can be better and give me feedback”

And June made sense
And June restored all I lost
And June brought good tidings
And June gave me greater opportunities
And June delivered all it was supposed to deliver
And June gave me a greater dimension of favor
And in June, God lifted me🥳🥳🥳

There’s so much to be said about the rheumatologists in LASUTH and LUTH that manage #LupusWarriors here in Lagos, their attitude to work and how they make us feel. If nobody will say it, I definitely will, and what better time than during #LupusAwarenessMonth
