To someone who stayed in my darkest days,
Thank you for proving that you are not like the rest.
I am flawed but you accepted who I am without buts and ifs.
You inspire me to be better each day.
We do not know what lies ahead, but I still want you to be part of my journey.
Hey,
I am proud of you. I am happy for your growth and progress. You will soon achieve all your goals in life. Just keep going because you are almost there!
To my beloved parents,
Sorry for not being the best child.
I am not perfect.
I am bruised.
I have insecurities.
I fail a lot of times.
But one thing for sure is I am doing my best to make you proud.
Trust me, I will make it. ✨
When you wanted to have a clear skin but you also:
- sleep late
-too lazy to do the skin care routine
- frequently eat oily food
- do not drink a lot of water
So you end up retweeting all these “retweet this for clear skin sh*t”, hoping for a miracle.
Do you feel me?
You are the strongest person I know—
You overthink a lot, but you did not stop chasing your dreams.
Your heart is heavy, but you did not stop living.
You were broken and sad, but you did your best to keep going.
I am so proud of you!
Struggles of every 20’s.
1. Not getting enough sleep
2. Figuring out what to really pursue
3. Pressure from society
4. Afraid of failures
5. Struggle to be accepted
To someone struggling with their studies,
Surely it will never be an easy journey. You will be bombarded with failure, detours and delays.
You will reach a point that you just want to quit and stop chasing your dreams.
But it is okay to be tired, but you should not give up.
“What keeps you going?”
My dreams. I still need to make my parents proud. When everything is going downhill, always remember that you have a bigger God. ✨
“Aren’t you tired?”
I am at some point, but I have to keep going. My heart may feel heavy and my mind might be drained, but I will never give up. You cannot just let go of something that you have been praying for since the beginning. ✨
5 lessons I learned in my 20’s.
1. Not everyone will like you and that is okay. Focus on people who value you.
2. Adulting is hard. You can’t seem to figure out what you really want.
3. Self-love is necessary.
4. Begging for love is not worthy.
5. People come and go.
To someone who stayed,
Thank you for staying in my darkest days. For always believing that I can and for being able to handle my worst side.
I am far from perfection, but you accepted everything. You are God’s gift that I will always treasure.
I am so blessed to have you.
