Freire, in his book 'Pedagogy of the Oppressed' explains how a society is taught to crush critical thinking, perpetuate servitude, and reinforce systems of oppression.

I am humbled and grateful to share that I have officially started my PhD in Media and Communication at Temple University as a Presidential Fellow.

This doctoral journey allows me to continue digging into questions I consider pressing at the intersections of Human-Machine Communication, AI, and information systems, drawing on my academic and professional journey across communications, data, and technology. Specifically, questions of trust and intimacy with AI systems, bias and information access, privacy in digital environments, and the ways communication research can guide more ethical design, regulation, and adoption of AI systems.

I am very grateful to my mentors, advisors, colleagues and friends who have placed so much belief in me even when the path ahead was far from certain. I am here because of that belief, and I do not take it for granted.

My hope is to continue investing in knowledge that shapes conversations at the intersection of technology, society, and communication.
