@rjchoppy @Dutch_Oven45 Yes sir I agree with that as well, my son is doing the same. I like when they hit with the wood bats better, I actually feel he has hit better with wood bats every summer since he was in 8th grade and he is a Junior in college now.

Yes, I agree from my experience that is what they are looking at. Size projections, D1 and D2 coaches seem to like a guy that bats .240-.270 with double digit homeruns over guys that are D1 JUCO transfers with .330-.340+ averages and high on-base percentages, if they didn’t hit tons of homeruns. It’s crazy how much the game has changed.
