@NPR I can never understand why people believe socialized medicine is the answer rather than insurance, prescription and hospital regulation. The problem is clearly that these businesses are free to charge people for whatever they choose without any regulation.
@___virgil___@Reuters I completely agree, nothing heroic about doing something stupid. Law enforcement is not perfect but at least they are trained for these situations.
@mehdirhasan For the rest of his life wherever he goes there will be people in the room that believe he is a murderer. This is no life that I would ever wish for.
@RODTIJ123456 @AC360@CNN I hate when people write in all caps. If you have something compelling to say just write it. He will be Kyle Rittenhouse for the rest of his life and everywhere he goes at least one person in the room will think he's a murderer. His life will be like O.J. Simpson's with no money
@TyrellTyler01 @infomorsels@AC360 I believe that he knew that there was a chance that he would be spending the rest of his life in prison. I really don't think that he had to rehearse for that moment.
@labell49@AC360@TheJusticeDept@Scotus There is actually a long history of vigilante justice in America, I am not stating an opinion on the verdict, just pointing out that vigilante justice in America is not a new idea or action.
@JayShahyyz@glennbeck Law enforcement does not want the help of children with assault rifles, I could never stress this point enough. If you are a child with a gun stay home!!!
@PatsPat@washingtonpost You comments are confusing so I have concluded that you might be drunk. Yes, self defense was supported by the law. Also, law enforcement does not want the help of children with assault rifles ever, I mean never ever does law enforcement want children with guns to help them.
@t_wittek_golf @RyanWaldmania @nprpolitics This is exactly why people like you shouldn't try to be law enforcement, you don't understand how the job gets done. It's always about saving lives and never taking them.
@t_wittek_golf @RyanWaldmania @nprpolitics You mistakenly see what law enforcement was doing as appreciating the help. Law enforcement's job isn't to create a bigger problem by expanding the situation into both rioters and civilians with guns. People really need to just let law enforcement do what they are trained for.
@t_wittek_golf @RyanWaldmania @nprpolitics I agree, it was self defense. I have never disagreed. But, I whole heartedly disagree with your selective opinion that law enforcement want civilians with guns doing their jobs.
@t_wittek_golf @RyanWaldmania @nprpolitics And no matter what you tell yourself, law enforcement doesn't want the help of children with assault rifles. I couldn't state this point enough. No children please!!!
@t_wittek_golf @RyanWaldmania @nprpolitics This is law enforcement's job, while some may not agree, this is exactly what happens when untrained civilians with guns pretend to be law enforcement. Just let law enforcement do their jobs.
@mehdirhasan Anybody who wants a civil war in America is ignorant of the political landscape we live in. American weakness will be an immediate opportunity for China to invade. Any American who believes differently isn't looking at the big picture.
@JosephB26673719@bigbluetick13@CNN Also you are wrong,
The Insurrection Act of 1807 is a United States federal law that empowers the President of the United States to deploy U.S. military and federalized National Guard troops within the United States in particular circumstances, such as to suppress civil disorder
@JosephB26673719@bigbluetick13@CNN I disagree with you, I believe he panicked and that this the job of people who are trained to do it. But, I can still respect your opinion and don't have to dislike you for see things differently even if I think you are wrong.
