Feels impossible to recon with greed when it’s just the response to “eat what you kill” stimuli. “I wouldn’t be so greedy if I didn’t have to be” which is true if abundance is something you can count?
What if we were this busy for no reason and we were actually supposed to just relax. I wonder if evolving actually needs this much FOCUS ALL THE TIME.. All this aspiration for external whateverthefuck , but maybe the highest achievement is just access to an internal state and the rest is unlimited.
I’m not a crypto guy at all, but something about crypto that I’ve always found fascinating is that it is the only form of money that can be stored exclusively inside of your own brain.
If you were fleeing a war-torn country or something, you can literally dump all of your assets into bitcoin, transfer it to a wallet, memorize your seed phrase, destroy all of your hardware, flee your country, and bring your assets back online when you get wherever you’re going. Nobody could access your funds except for your own brain.
Cool as fuck ngl
🧵 The Hidden Cost of Selling Bitcoin
Case 1: You bought years ago and sold at 110K.
--------------------------------------------------
On paper, you did great.
Entry: 30K
Exit: 110K
Gain: 80K
Tax (30%): 24K
After-tax net: 86K
You basically doubled your money after tax.
Your accountant congratulates you.
Your wife says, “Great job.”
You feel smart.
But here’s the psychological trap:
You will never buy back at a higher price than you sold.
Not at 125K.
Not at 140K.
Not at 170K.
And definitely not at 200K.
You keep waiting for “a better entry” that’s never coming.
Your perfectly timed “win” becomes a permanent exit from the greatest trade of your lifetime.
The public and even the politicians in the USA are clearly sick of the deceit and lies around the Epstein files
I expect them to be released soon-ish
I expect a long list of powerful people
It'll be glorious to see them nuked
It'll shake up the markets
I'm ready to buy that dump
TBH this is the easiest bear market I've ever seen.
Seems like most of you have forgotten what 2022 was like. Luna collapsing, then 3AC, then FTX, then Genesis, BlockFi, Axie, NFTs--pretty much everything felt like a house of cards.
And then after all that stuff collapsed, the BANKS collapsed, stablecoins depegged, Gary Gensler and the president tried to destroy almost every company in the industry--I really wasn't sure how much of this stuff was going to survive.
Compared to that? This is breezy.
Prices have gone down, yeah whatever. Fundamentals are great. Crypto is working.
So relax, get something to eat. Lock in. We'll be fine.
I dunno.. I see both sides. I just think that the 8 year cycle of gold took some time to develop. Obviously same with the 16 and 30 year cycle. I think we relied on a 4 year cycle with BTC because of we were so early . We aren’t even in the adolescents yet. I think we’re barely learning to walk. It’s a million dollar coin. I can see why someone would 2/3x leveraging their net worth into BTC at this price.
Lack of blow off top because sellers anticipate blow off top
Lack of bear market nuke because new buyers absorb it all
Result? 180+ days of sideways during what is supposed to be the steepest part of the cycle
How it ends? With a spring, and that steep character following
Coming soon to a couch near you
