When I was Muslim, I compared Muhammad’s last words to Jesus’ last words.
Not just the facts, but the spirit behind them.
And bro, the difference is staggering. It shook my devout Muslim faith.
According to Sahih al-Bukhari, Muhammad’s final words included: “May Allah curse the Jews and the Christians. They made the graves of their prophets into places of worship.”
Those are words associated with his final moments.
No forgiveness. No reconciliation. No peace.
Now compare that to Jesus.
Beaten, betrayed, tortured, hanging on a cross with nails through His wrists, Jesus says:
“Father, forgive them, for they know not what they do.”
And then: “It is finished.”
One dies speaking curses.
The other dies extending forgiveness.
One ends by drawing lines and reinforcing division.
The other tears the veil and reconciles heaven and earth.
And whether people like it or not, final words reveal something deeply personal about the heart.
That contrast shook me.
Because one man’s final moments reinforced separation, while the other’s changed eternity through mercy, sacrifice, and love.
Please sit with that honestly.
I’m naturally more of a listener than a talker. I don’t usually say much, I prefer hearing other people’s views, thoughts, and perspectives. Sometimes, I struggle to put my thoughts into words, even though there’s a lot going on in my head. That’s why I really appreciate people who open up to me, who share what’s on their mind without taking offense at how I communicate.
Don’t comment, just retweet.
I am a Christian, a follower of Jesus. I was bought with a price. I believe in the saving work of Christ. I believe He died and rose again for my sins, and I believe He is coming back. My body is the temple of the Holy Spirit, redeemed, cleansed, and sanctified by the blood of Jesus.
I’m a lover girl. I want to be so drowned in real, genuine love. I love romance, I love clinginess, I love intimacy, I love being affectionate , I love dates, I love the flowers. I want it all. I don’t want anything mediocre or surface level. That is not for me!
Yesterday I spent six hours trying to write about Deborah Samuel.
I couldn't finish.
Deborah was 19. A Home Economics student at Shehu Shagari College in Nigeria.
May 12th, 2022.
Her classmates were discussing upcoming exams in their WhatsApp group.
Someone posted about Prophet Muhammad helping them pass.
Deborah responded: "Holy Ghost fire. Nothing concerns Jesus with exam success."
Within hours, she was dead.
The mob formed fast. Students she knew. People she studied with.
They dragged her from the security office where she'd hidden.
Beat her with sticks.
Stoned her.
Set her on fire.
All on video.
I've watched the footage. I wish I hadn't.
A 19-year-old girl screaming for mercy.
Her classmates throwing rocks at her burning body.
Her crime? Defending Jesus in a group chat.
Think about that. A WhatsApp message.
The same platform where we send memes and make dinner plans.
She typed a defense of Christ and died for it.
While we calculate whether posting Scripture might hurt my engagement,
she paid with her life for typing "Holy Ghost fire."
While we debate adding cross emojis to our bios,
she burned alive for three sentences.
Her family had to flee their home immediately.
Death threats. Arson attempts.
Her father lost his job.
The ripple effects of one WhatsApp message defending Jesus.
Nigerian authorities arrested two suspects.
Then released them.
"Lack of evidence."
They had video footage.
Hundreds of witnesses.
The mob celebrated on social media.
Still not enough evidence, apparently.
This is Chapter 23 of "Blood and Bandwidth."
Deborah Samuel. 19 years old.
Burned alive for a WhatsApp message.
2022. Not 1522.
Along with 46 other modern martyrs whose stories
most Christians will never hear.
Because we're too busy managing our comfort
to acknowledge what faith costs elsewhere.
Her last words, caught on video:
"What do you hope to achieve with this?"
While burning, she was still trying to reason.
Still hoping for humanity.
Still believing people could choose differently.
That's faith under actual fire.
I'm not writing this to shame anyone.
I'm writing it because Deborah's courage deserves witness.
Her death deserves more than trending for 48 hours.
More than thoughts and prayers.
More than digital amnesia.
That's why the book is physical only. $50.
October release.
Because some stories deserve weight.
Some courage demands commemoration.
Some deaths require more than convenience.
Deborah was 19.
She defended Jesus in a group chat.
They burned her alive for it.
While we worry about being "cringe,"
she chose cremation over silence.
Pre-order closes October 10th.
Her story, and 46 others, deserve to be told.
Deserve to be held.
Deserve to be remembered.
Link in bio.
@jon_d_doe Desr Sender, I want u to know all u may have done is common to man. Its all forgivable. Please go back to ur father's warm embrace. He loves you dearly and want to support you. In no time al your lost years would be restored to you. Hold on to God and trust in him. Go home
For the many people pushing the gospel in their own little or big way on X, thank you for giving to the Lord!
Don’t undermine your efforts, don’t overestimate your worth, just be faithful to the Master!
So you didn't pray again cos you missed your prayer alarm?
Who told you that God isn't aware of your humanity?
Get up. Dust yourself. Start praying.
If you miss the alarm, pray whenever you wake up.
Don't let your human weaknesses quench the Spirit.
Continue in prayer.
the community once reflected they were hurt by past airdrops
i took this to heart and reflected this to our TokenTable team
as a result, @tokentable screens all projects and only distribute with honest and reliable projects
we are proud to say that
ROoLZ is Signed🫵🧡💯
ROOLZ COOKED
Even if you didn’t pay you would have gotten $20-$30 if you played the game seriously
Imagine if you had the nft …
Bullish on NFT tho
Bullish on Project that are really building
Bullish on anime (this is my first anime project that did so well )
Please stop judging/fudding a new project based on your past experience(s) with other projects . When I was posting about the #ROOLZ airdrop, I saw comments like, "The game is similar to Pixelverse, I'm not playing".
I am glad @Roolznft did not disappoint. I am still holding my bags 💯💯
