I’m compiling a list of books I’ve read in 2022.
Book number 1 was The Invisible Life of Addie LaRue by @veschwab and it instantly catapults itself into the conversation for my favourite ever book. Dark, beautiful, moving and joyous, Addie's life is one I will remember.
@TampaBayTre@NFLSEshow Genuine question - why should teams get so much credit for hitting on late picks if their early picks were bad? Surely it means that their process/scouting is wrong - they made bad choices multiple times before getting lucky late on.
Thoroughly enjoyed the rattled comments under this, but in all seriousness, to have a global championships back in London would be incredible for our sport. I didn't think we'd get the opportunity again during my career, the british crowd would fill it everyday. Seems silly for London to be taken out of the running, over a football team not compromising on a stadium they pay RENT for when it's only a few extra away games, everything's always all about money and never moments. let us have this moment!!! pretty please 🫶🏼🫶🏼🫶🏼🤝🤝🤝🤝💕💕💕💕
We are delighted to announce the signing of midfielder Finley Barbrook, who joins on loan from Ipswich Town until the end of the season.
The highly regarded 21-year-old arrives with an impressive development pedigree. Fin captained Ipswich Town’s Under-21s side at just 18 years old and was named the club’s Academy Player of the Year at the end of the 2023/24 campaign.
That same season also saw him enjoy a successful loan spell with Chelmsford City, a period that helped accelerate his progression and attract interest from clubs higher up the football pyramid.
In 2024/25, Fin continued his development with a loan move to Sutton United, where he featured close to 40 times and earned multiple Player of the Year awards following a standout campaign in the National League.
After impressing during Ipswich Town’s pre-season last summer and featuring in their Carabao Cup fixture, Fin joined Lincoln City on loan in League One. With Lincoln enjoying strong form, his opportunities were limited to the Vertu Trophy, leaving him eligible for another loan move.
That move now brings Fin to the JobServe Community Stadium for the remainder of the season.
Welcome to Colchester United, Finley.
