Something has really been annoying me since #PMQs yesterday. Why does @Keir_Starmer never answer the question @KemiBadenoch puts to him? Does he think he's being clever when us, the voting public who pays his wages, want to hear the answer... He truly thinks we are all idiots!

I’ve just been gaslit for 40 minutes by Rachel from accounts telling me the economy is “recovering”, everything is “going to plan”, and borrowing is “down”.

BORROWING – is “down” because they changed how they account for it. It’s up!

UNEMPLOYMENT – forecast to hit 1.9 million this year. And doesn’t include the growing numbers now saying they can’t work because they are ill!

GROWTH – is negligible and mostly in government spending.

BUSINESS CONFIDENCE – in the toilet, except if you have a net zero subsidy.

HOUSEHOLDS – struggling.

ENERGY – she says she’s “taking £150 off bills” but it’s £134 and in reality it’s shifted onto everyone who pays tax. So it’s a rebate for those on welfare anyway.

The only people doing well out of Labour are global corporations with net zero subsidies and MPs who just got pay rises for failure. AGAIN!

Brilliant.
