@RepMariaSalazar What about making it easier for legal immigrants who’ve lived in the U.S. for years? Many work, study, and pay taxes but face endless uncertainty. Immigration reform should include a clear path to a green card for those who have followed the rules and built lives here
@charliekirk11 Instead of only creating paths for those here illegally, immigration rules should recognize people who’ve followed the law. Many have lived here legally for years, studied or worked in critical fields, and still have no green card path. A residency-based option is long overdue
@RepMariaSalazar Reform shouldn’t focus only on those here unlawfully. Millions have lived in the U.S. legally for years, contributing and following the rules. A residency-based green card for long-term legal residents would recognize their commitment and provide needed stability
@RepMariaSalazar What about people who’ve followed immigration laws and lived in the U.S. legally for years? Many are U.S. graduates on visas like the O-1, contributing in critical fields. There should be a residency-based green card option for those here for 5+ years similar to Europe and Canada
