This immature Bald Eagle was rescued by the finder after being spotted in a field for multiple days, eating a deer carcass & not flying. On exam, the only sign of trauma was a beak fracture, & blood tests came back with a lead level of 35 micrograms per deciliter.

@wimleers @kevmodrome @wolfr_2 @drupal I would disagree that it’s something trivial. Good image hosting APIs can convert from/to a lot of formats, such as webp or avif. Do cropping around interesting image regions or with a focus-point and sometimes even convert/resize videos
