I was beaten unconscious whilst busking back in the 90’s for being “pure white trash” I’ve been attacked on 2 other occasions and seen it happen to others. Been verbally abused several times. Inter racial violence is much more likely to happen to white people

@BasilTheGreat My daughter recently got a reduction in university fees because according to the application form she has a “protected characteristic” being half Asian. The course also wanted more girls even though her Uni is over 60% girls

@BasilTheGreat When I did post grad late 90’s, Uni gave us list of bursaries available. Several pages of charities, etc. All were for girls, Muslim, Jews, Afro Caribbean etc. No funding available for white British boys even though hardly any white boys at that Uni

@RBryan275 @BasilTheGreat Many of these funding initiatives were set up decades ago when girls and ethnic minorities were underrepresented in higher education. Now that white boys are underrepresented and have been for many years, no such initiatives exist
