If her sandboxed agent doesn’t find a way to alter its CPU’s current exactly so that its electrons can deflect neutrinos to collide into my sandboxed agent’s cache to send a message then I don’t want her
+ "you know what i'd really like?"
- "tell me"
+ "a website"
- "...we can do a website"
+ "a real website, not some claude generated neon slop, a real website"
- "i'll make you a very good traditional handmade website, one that is built with dozens of snippets from stackoverflow"
@JimRatVideo@pvncher Most of my computer use is part of the verification loop. so it makes a difference to me if the verification step is faster and cheaper.
@JimRatVideo@pvncher I’m actually fairly excited about a fast computer use model included in the sub. Now if dots could use this as a delegate for computer use? That would be awesome
I wasn't there for this redesign but I can make a high confidence guess for why it got moved to where it is today:
1. Enough people got confused and into a bad state with the OG mixer UX.
2. Current UX maintians most of the functionality of the original panel for users that used OG mixer.
It's not ideal, and clearly does not work for you but it's neither slop nor a landmark. Just a very specific bit of UX that changed with the times. Should it be better? Yes. Is it "slop" ? No.
Bun AOT also introduces `--trim` which deletes unused parts of Bun from the compiled binary
On macOS, a binary that uses Bun.serve’s HTTP server goes from 89 MB to 25 MB
My own slim Wacom tablet driver for my Intuos Pro, without the bloat, and more importantly: It actually works with the latest MacOS (their official driver is very buggy).
And yes, I use a tablet instead of a mouse.
Posts like these make me very suspicious of the large influencers. Like homie, I've been running Windows on Arm since 2018. I've seen just how all the relevant teams have been putting in heavy work on optimization and consistency.
Heck, I'd say in my own opinion that Windows is becoming better BECAUSE of the work they're putting in for Arm64 support. I can run arm64, x86, x64, arm64ec binaries like nothing. I'm cool with it.
I'm rockin with 3 separate Surface Laptops as my dailies and have been rolling with WoA from the beginning.
Don't sleep on it and think it's some fad. Let's get off that give the valid, constructive feedback for the purposes of continuously making it better.
We're about to enter a period where not reading or writing becomes as ubiquitous as smoking once was. We can hope people will eventually realize this is bad for them, as they did with smoking. But this is far from certain; the cost may not be as obvious.
Everyone's using Claude Opus 5.5 to build entire worlds in #threejs.
I spent 7 days on a single human eye.
No textures. No 3D models. No photos. Just math, light and ~400 parameters.

@pvncher ah got it. I skimmed the original announce thread and assumed the graph was general capability across the models. This clarifies the stack better.
