And I think everyone else looks great with them! I see wonderfully fashionable people absolutely pulling it off but for some reason I can’t make them work for me. They do not make me feel chic.
Really small beans in the grand scheme of things but I’ve been wearing glasses full time for 6/7 years now and I STILL hate the way they look and think they ruin every single outfit/hairstyle/makeup look I do. Contacts didn’t work for me either so I’m just stuck??
How do I teach my son that if he doesn’t want to eat anymore of his lunch he can just stop eating and I’ll get the message. Mate you don’t need to throw the stuff on the floor to communicate that to me!
@turntineforwhat I remember recently you talked about how you’re in the ocean learning to swim vs people on the shore with help. I didn’t figure out sleep until I was 30 and I was on the shore. You’ve accomplished more than many in spite of the ocean. You’re amazing.
Bretagne.
Was there three times in late June, and it was heaven on earth.
Fine weather, empty beaches, cheap oysters, and the only non-locals you'll see are British pensioners in their summer houses or the occassional German in hiking gear.
One of the things I like about being an ADHD mum is that my baby’s schedule works really well for “fear of deadline productivity”. The stuff I can get done during my son’s nap would floor pre-baby me
Rambling now but empathy from both sides about so many things would go a long way. We can help each other with tips and tricks rather than pointing and laughing us or Europeans being arrogant, stubborn fools don’t wanna admit Americans are right about air con
My hot (lol) and late take on the air conditioning discourse is yes the UK should be putting it in all new business/residential builds. But they don’t. But also we’re still fairly new to high temperatures and are learning to cope with them so bear with us
And Americans do understand UK heat. I would say it’s more the inescapable nature of it that gets lost in translation. My baby’s bedroom was 30c/86f at 9pm this week. Hotter than outside at the time. And I don’t have the resources to cool it down. It’s scary sometimes
