Head Writer: Danger Mouse, Horrible Histories, smtv & Brilliant World of Tom Gates plus a bunch of other stuff. I should get Disenchantment in here somehow too.
@currys did that - they just said you have to go into the shop in the hope someone can help there, just like the people on the phone did. TV set up and TV team are gonna have a wasted trip. Now just curious to see if they turn up.
Anyone have any tips for talking to @currys complaints - the whole buying a TV from them thing isn't going well. So far, I'd recommend looking elsewhere if you're considering it. Been told I have to go to the shop itself.
The TV team are still due to come round. I'm not inclined to spend any more time or money on this. I was told to go into the shop and then cancel the team. Since I can't go to the shop, the best option seems to be to let them come and tell them when they get here it's been done.
so I entered into a dialogue on here with the curry's people and the upshot is after several messages that we have to go to the Eastbourne shop to get the 35 quid back and there is no-one who can deal with this online or on the phone. In the meantime the TV is now set up.
Up next is the award for Best Children's Programme and the winner is: Horrible Histories: The Gruesome Gunpowder Plot, @LionTelevision for @CBBC#BA2025
Some lovely news overnight - Horrible Histories won a #RockieAward! Congratulations to our amazing cast and crew! We also just lost out to The Last of Us in the Grand Jury prize, incredibly. Very similar shows…
A bunch of us got bored of boots sales being rained off so we're doing one at home. Do come. There'll be tea and cake and if Marcy's doing the prices again - it'll cost us money!
INTERVIEWER: Mr Ward, in your 30 year career, is there one piece of work that you think most represents what you're all about.
ME: What are you doing Friday?
Friday at 5.30pm on @cbbc, #HorribleHistories slightly loses its mind as Loo Man opens his Log Book, to bring you his Gross Guide to History. From Bruegel painting bottoms to Alexander the Great’s tummy trouble, this is one of the silliest shows I think we’ve ever done. Enjoy!
On Tuesday, to celebrate the 15th birthday of HH on TV, a new episode zips onto your @BBCiPlayer all about the Tower of London. Expect tales of escapes, strange potions, and Henry VIII’s ‘Top of the Chops’, plus Rattus hosts with actual Yeamon Warder AJ! #HorribleHistories15
