@Batmanatlaw @DeRushaJ Comparing journalists to professional athletes is a huge stretch. Joe Mauer and Ant are undoubtedly the best in the world at what they do. Many many people who could be excellent journalists, but don’t because there isn’t enough money there. Pro sports are a true meritocracy.

@avidseries Minnesota brags about their education system. Having observed it with my kids for the past 16 years, I can say it’s solid. Having been raised in rural Montana, I can say that’s also solid. Stats don’t say that. What is it they say about stats?

Want to travel in retirement plenty, so assuming $150k conservatively. In early years, funding college education, then transitioning that spend to travel.
