@1Nicdar Most likely the creation of Pell grants in the 70’s gave an opportunity to raise tuition in the 80’s without raising out of pocket cost for most students, since Feds paid the difference Grants. More cash gave small colleges the chance to expand and compete w flagship schools.
@maddenifico Will @elonmusk kids be able to say they were raised in a working class family? Their dad has been working multiple jobs all of his adult life.
@JakeCrain_@cfb_ultimate But first he was a 5-star signee at Florida. Cam’s personal comeback was a bigger story. Winning a juco natty with his credentials started a pre-NIL bidding war (allegedly Auburn fan, allegedly)
@carkerpox There are about a thousand high school all American lists. Doubt that matters to any coaches. If he’s actually good, the good news is colleges can offer 28 scholarships starting next year (up from 9) Go walk on. Good luck.
@AgbajiAgenda @WaveaftergWave TU losses were to ranked teams when they happened. Losing to unranked KU while in position to make champ game was brutal. ASU loss was almost as bad since (your words) the win that got ASU ranked was over one of the middle teams in a game gameday didn’t really want to cover.
@AgbajiAgenda @WaveaftergWave Probably on the resume but not having a shot at conference championship game hurts. Tulane lost early to ranked teams and won all the games (so far) it was “supposed to win”, BYU losing to KU this late was unfortunate. Conference champions clause in playoffs make it even tougher.
@ArInstructor@khanameer78@WaveaftergWave If AzSt wins out and wins Big12 they will have lost to 2 Big12 teams that’s won’t have a shot at the title game. And Cincy isn’t even bowl eligible. Even SEC cellar team OU is bowl eligible!
@ClayTravis “Mother of all battles”…remember that empty bravado? Launching a slow flying, easily tracked drone attack directly into the Israeli missile defenses and calling it glorious retribution seems about the same. Middle East smack talks like Lebron wishes he could.
