Heartbroken to hear about the passing of our former WJZ-TV colleague Stan Saunders. Stan's smile lit up the newsroom and if Stan was there you knew it would be a good day.
He loved his family and his work and all of us loved him.
Rest in peace my friend.
We’re leaving no stone unturned as we enter this final stretch of this race.
We’re going to keep showing up, listening and earning support one conversation at a time.
This campaign belongs to all of you.
Let’s bring it home and win this race for Baltimore County executive.
Hope, not fear.
Community, not division.
Generosity, not greed.
Light, not darkness.
As Baltimore County executive, I’ll appeal to the best in us, not the worst.
Our campaign is about every family and resident.

.@MilfordMillAcad graduation ceremony this morning! I am so proud of all the seniors on this outstanding accomplishment and wish them well in the next chapter of their lives. We are celebrating you and your families on this wonderful day.
Tonight, I joined a Baltimore County executive candidate forum hosted by the Randallstown NAACP to discuss affordability, education, public safety and what real representation looks like.
Every community and neighborhood in Baltimore County matters.
Following the candidate forum, I joined friends and supporters in Reisterstown for the Reisterstown Improvement Association’s third annual community open house and general meeting.
We need to restructure and re-tool our permitting department.
To address this issue head-on, I will create two high-level ombudsmen that will guide permits through the process
Enjoyed attending the Maryland Inclusive Housing meet and greet at Richcroft, Inc. this morning to discuss my plans on how to tackle affordable housing in Baltimore County.
We must balance protecting the beautiful greenspace in our county with the housing needs of our residents
As Baltimore County executive, I intend to earn your trust from Day One. We are going to change the way local government does business. This means pushing back against special interests, delivering world-class constituent services and standing up for our democracy.
Rain or shine, we’re knocking doors, installing signs and meeting residents where they are every day.
Nothing is going to stop us from showing up and connecting with voters to learn about the issues affecting them — one door and conversation at a time.
I’m grateful for the opportunity to share my vision for making Baltimore County the best it can be. We need a leader with a steady hand who will stand up for everyone and deliver real results.
Thank you to the Owings Mills Corporate Roundtable for hosting an informative and lively Baltimore County executive candidate forum this morning.
As I have said from the beginning, my agenda to put communities first remains the same.
When housing costs were pushing seniors from their homes, I led the highest performing senior housing upgrade program in the region and created the zoning tools to expand affordable housing.
Today, on National Teacher Appreciation Day, we celebrate Baltimore County’s educators.
Your work goes far beyond the classroom. You organize and advocate for better resources, stronger policies and learning environments where every student is seen and supported.
Today’s Supreme Court decision effectively guts a key pillar of the Voting Rights Act, freeing state legislatures to gerrymander legislative districts to systematically dilute and weaken the voting power of racial minorities - so long as they do it under the guise of “partisanship” rather than explicit “racial bias.” And it serves as just one more example of how a majority of the current Court seems intent on abandoning its vital role in ensuring equal participation in our democracy and protecting the rights of minority groups against majority overreach.
The good news is that such setbacks can be overcome. But that will only happen if citizens across the country who cherish our democratic ideals continue to mobilize and vote in record numbers - not just in the upcoming midterms or in high profile races, but in every election and every level.

I am not seeking the office of Baltimore County executive for the celebrity status of the position.
I will focus on the nuts and bolts of the job, resolving constituent service requests, being responsive and remaining community centered in our focus. https://t.co/fkiCC1AN5R
