i definitely think mitya is some sort of alchemical angel / a false angel (maybe purposefully created by the fatui? which would explain his influence) but he's either not aware of it or his nature means he doesn't know as much about celestia as other angels do

related to the angel mitya theory but i think his scarf is a disguise for his angel wings. i was racking my head around trying to think of why it has 4 fingers when, if made to represent a human hand, should have 5 and i think its actually made to represent angel wings

@stellarcele it's either that or i think he's being purposefully kept in the dark by the fatui. when mitya knows more than he lets on (e.g in the cafe scene with vodyanitsa) he lets us know + he's also frequently "censored" (by his scarf or by valeriy)
