#DC Review: Blood, Bullets & Banger BGM

DC carries a strong Tamil flavour in its making, characterisations and execution, which is not for everyone. It also leads to a nativity problem. If that’s okay, and the heavy violence-laden action presented with electric BGM is what you like, DC is right in your zone.

The slow pace and nativity are issues throughout, and the second half has a bit of repetition, but by the time one reaches the end, it leaves one with a solid, satisfying feeling.

Whatever #DC’s fate, it’s a facelift for Brand @Dir_Lokesh, even if he isn’t directing. DC should bring the momentum right back to his @alluarjun #LK7 project with @anirudhofficial known to deliver his best bangers for Loki !

#ArunMatheswaran delivers a superbly crafted wild ride that blends gut-wrenching, explosive action and a beautiful love story amidst all the bloodshed.

#AnirudhRavichander, the biggest star of the film, delivers an electrifying background score that makes every sequence, be it action or emotional, into a theatrical high.

Both #LokeshKanagaraj and #WamiqaGabbi deliver terrific performances in their dark and twisted roles.

With stunning visuals, skilfully staged scenes, and a fine script that ties everything together, DC works both as a whistle-worthy mass actioner, and a celebration of craft, making it a pure cinematic madness that needs to be experienced.
