im in love with all of you and i will always be dedicated to the communist movement because i am motivated by a deep desire to learn and an adoration for the world
@atom_private archie i just saw this, my topology studies have fallen off a bit since end of sem + travelling, but i have my notes packed in my suitcase and will be picking it back up again once im in melb and i would absolutely love to have more chats about maths โค๏ธ
@atom_private@alisonlocked language constantly changes, & i think people often focus too much on the individual instead of the society as a whole -- i want the free intermingling of all linguistic resources in the social body, not the tying back of languages to an abstract national/community identity
just found out there is an official orthography for the ukrainian language which was approved by cabinet ministers and endorsed by various national bodies https://t.co/PcVQdllqSf
@atom_private@alisonlocked speak languages like irish, as i said language exchange is beautiful, but i think people often aren't critical enough of the reasons behind language revival efforts; they are ultimately tied back to the reproduction of state power (through ideology).
@theskinworms oh god... parker you gotta be clicking the three dots and selecting ''not interested'' on a lot of posts otherwise it does degenerate into neurosis slop
''linguistic identity'' must be crushed just like national identity, the two mutually reinforce one another. language, however, has a kind of untouchable status in ''progressive'' bourgeois media, and we should raise a systematic critique of this.
