@JimSterling This highlights the problem with the term TERF to begin with. It assumes that anyone you label it with is a Feminist, which gives too much credit to many of the targets. A lot of transphobes are just misogynist assholes who look down on all women, cis and trans alike.

@AnakhaSilver Meaning what angle they're coming from, not a literal origin. What their thought process is like. Don't engage with an "enemy" without data. They believe what they believe because of their Book. That's their source of fear. Calm that fear, then talk.

It means harnessing the energy being pointed at you in a constructive way and demonstrating that you understand where they are coming from to teach them something. Throw some transphobic language at me and I'll show you what I mean

@JimSterling @Sclenk1 Not trying to scare you, but you're giving them exactly what they want when you say that. They don't want to view you as human. Showing zero empathy only makes it easier for them to view you as less than. We both know that is far from true.

@AnakhaSilver Also, going around and screaming at people and telling them they're wrong in their beliefs is not educating. Trying to convince people to join you is not educating. Both are evangelicalism. Denial of differences is the leading cause of conflict, remember that.
