In Minnesota, 31-year-old Ladan Mohamed Ali flew from Seattle to bribe the youngest, only person of color juror in a fraud trial. Stalking her home and circling her neighborhood 19 times per GPS data, and directed by four co-defendants via encrypted chats, delivered $120,000 in a Hallmark gift bag with instructions to vote not guilty, claiming government targeting of Somalis. All five defendants pled guilty to jury tampering.
