The entire world came together to hate on a man while his father was fighting for his life. There's a special place in hell for all you and whoever financed that smear campaign.
Los argentinos pegaron mucho y son muy malos, pero en cuanto lo haga el Madrid de Mourinho en dos meses será un equipo intenso, competitivo y que da gusto ver.
Aquí lo leyeron primero.
The moral hipocrisy and double-standards in Europe are absurd. These things happen in futbol, in big finals , and that does not turn a country into nazis, racists , uncivilized, etc etc.
In the last four World Cup finals, only two runners-up stayed on the pitch until the trophy presentation: Argentina in 2014 and Argentina in 2026.
Not Croatia, Not France. Did anyone say anything during that time? No, because that wouldn't get clicks.
Guess which country is now being criticized and accused of disrespecting the winners simply for going over to acknowledge their own fans? Argentina, of course.
This is genuinely mental illness. I’ve never seen anything like this.
They’ve turned a football match into a political crusade. It would be one thing if an Argentina player had actually made a political statement, but none of them did. This entire narrative exists because people chose to believe something that never happened and never existed, fueled by a smear campaign and misinformation.
And on top of all that, he’s wearing an ENGLAND (!!) shirt.
Im overhearing people at work who don’t even watch football saying that all Messi’s awards and accomplishments are because he’s friends with the FIFA and UEFA president. And you still think the smear campaign is just online banter.
The political takes this World Cup were so embarrassingly bad. The country that recognised Palestine in 2010 is somehow more Zionist than countries who only recognised Palestine in 2025.
Apparently making 3 out of 6 World Cup finals and winning 1 of them is more embarrassing than making 0 out of 6 World Cup finals. Strange world we live in
Americans calling Argentinians Nazis while literally having active concentration camps in their country is probably one of the most ridiculous things to happen on Twitter
The hate Argentina got this tournament made me realize how easy it is to brainwash and program people. Would love to see someone publish work on this some day as it’s a very interesting case study.
The world is at peace because it’s Rodri.
Rodri won the World Cup Golden Ball without a single goal or assist, and nobody seems to have a problem with it. If it had been Messi with those exact same stats—even if Argentina had won the World Cup—the entire internet would have been on fire. People would be screaming “robbery,” saying Mbappé deserved it, claiming FIFA was protecting Messi, and pushing the usual “FIFA’s favorite” narrative.
Now? Complete silence.
The double standards are unbelievable. Bloody hypocrites.
