While completing Ben Nevis as the final mountain in our three peaks challenge, rasing money @SeeSawCharity, we received some very wise words from a person similar to @JeffBrazier: Great
achievements are never handed to you on a plate.
Another peak completed in our three peak challenge for @SeeSawCharity. Here we are at the top of @walkscafellpike, similar to yesterday, the views were amazing.
What an amazing day yesterday, started off with light rain that turned in to howling wind and rain 😂swondon complete now heading to Cumbria for day two of three peaks @SeeSawCharity
A massive thank you to @swinbrookcc for allowing us the humour of trying to play cricket. Although the runs conceded where high, it wasn't as high as the money raised for @SeeSawCharity just over £800.00 💥
So proud of all FRS staff (ops & non-ops) who are supporting the fight against C19 and are committed to doing even more (although not surprised)! Saving lives and supporting communities is in our DNA. Great coordination by @NFCC_FireChiefs staff keen to help wherever they can 👏
#COVID19 is spreading quickly across the country, putting many at risk & increasing pressure on the NHS.
As vaccines are rolled out, it is vital that you continue to stay at home to:
▶️Protect the NHS
▶️Save lives

Q:Burford is celebrating the amazing accomplishments of Steve Edington on reaching his 40 yrs of active service! and although that’s brilliant. We have another crew member whose also completed 42 years. Is there another station with two serving personnel over 40 years?@retainedf
The money has been counted and it’s an incredible effort by the crew of Burford Fire Station! not only did they manage to complete the 200-mile challenge with a Fire call in the middle, but also raise over £1000.00, which will be shared between
@firefighters999 @SeeSawCharity🎉
In tradional fashion, all our best made plans were interrupted by a fire call. Nevermind, a quick trip to Carterton for an alarm and then back to the tolsey to finish our sponsored event.
Women are better represented here in #GlosFire than in any other service, making up around 15% of our operational workforce. Colleagues at Fairford are proud that 3 of their 12 firefighters are women - that’s 25%! But we want to do better with our diversity - watch this space!
Thank you to everyone who's supported us so far. We've stopped for a bit a lunch and then we're on to the walk element the challenge, up and down burford hill 4 1/2 times. Dont forget you can still donate online at https://t.co/DGOBaUkRtx
