Today, Senate Bill 230 authorizing pharmacists to test and treat certain health conditions, had its first hearing in the Senate Health Committee.

OPA is proud to support this bill. We will have opportunities for members to engaged in advocating for this bill in the future.

Independent pharmacy groups back Iowa PBM regulation in federal court. This issue before the US Appeals 8th Circuit is key to PBM regulation. PBMs didn’t exist when ERISA was enacted in 1973 and a claims processor versus an insurer is a key question. https://t.co/XG5L0SdLN7

Yesterday, Gainwell and the Ohio Department of Medicaid announced a historic investment in maintaining pharmacy access and providing fair reimbursement for pharmacies in Ohio. Base dispensing fee tiers for managed care pharmacy claims will increase by approximately 9.6%.
