Immediately after plenary yesterday, the Election Violence Victims Relief Committee, under my leadership, reconvened to commence the sorting and review of the claimant forms submitted so far.

We are committed to leaving no stone unturned in the verification and assessment of all complaints and claims received. Every submission will be given due and fair consideration to ensure that genuine victims receive the necessary support and appropriate compensation to ameliorate the losses and hardships they suffered.

Our commitment is to ensure that no genuine victim is overlooked and that the relief process is transparent, credible, and just.

Upon my return from a state assignment, I visited Ijabe to commiserate with the people of Ijabe over the passing of His Royal Majesty, Alayeluwa Oba Late Felix Olaniyan Oyeniyi Oyelade II, JP, the Onijabe of Ijabe Land.

I assured the people of Ijabe of my support, as well as that of the government, towards giving our late Kabiyesi a befitting burial and providing support to the family he left behind.

I pray that the good people of Ijabe and the entire Odo Otin continue to prosper and blossom despite the loss of our revered monarch. May God Almighty grant Kabiyesi eternal rest, comfort the bereaved family and strengthen the remaining Obas.

May his soul rest in perfect peace.

This is in order to allow easy flow of traffic in the Osogbo metropolis during this festive period.
