LAPD units from across the city responded to protests at the federal building, where the scene turned chaotic. The protest escalated into violence, with vandalism and altercations reported.

DHS police used less-lethal measures to disperse the crowd, and an unlawful assembly was declared on Alameda between Aliso and Temple, with a five-minute dispersal order.

Protesters scattered as federal police deployed more less-lethal measures, while some in the crowd threw rocks and broken concrete.

LAPD requested federal police stop using gas to allow assistance, as the crowd, estimated at 75-100 people, continued throwing objects.
