“Something like that. I've had many years to hone my craft—many more to seek out more opponents and test myself. Not that the world left me short of them.. While egotistical in nature, I have reached the peak of swordsmanship. It's what one might call transcendence.”
⠀
❛ Sword master? ❜
She looked intrigued.
❛ I've never heard anyone call themselves that before. Does that mean you're actually as skilled with a sword as the title suggests? ❜
A small smirk drew on her lips, there was certainly something interesting about this man.
⠀
“Well... because it 𝘪𝘴 real,” he turned to face her as he answered, hand casually resting on the guard. “It would be rather unbecoming for a sword master to be without their sword.”
⠀
❛ That sword looks very 𝙧𝙚𝙖𝙡. ❜
A voice came from behind the tall man in the long coat. Rin had noticed the weapon almost immediately. It wasn't something she expected to see openly carried around London.
❛ You don't exactly look like you're from around here. ❜
⠀
“Indulge me a little?” He hadn't planned to spy on the redhead training, but now the spirit that had driven him to master the sword resounded strongly. The song of steel that swordsmen answered to. “Come at me.”
@ChasingIdeals
“Your left foot is misplaced,” his tone was even as he appeared in the doorway. His white coat billowed behind him as his hand rested on the handle of his sword. “It's rather impressive considering your age though. Consider me curious so..”
@meinsterwitch
Knuckles rapped against the door, the man patiently waiting for an answer. When it arrived he offered a light smile, easygoing enough ━━━ “Sorry to intrude, but could you point me in the right direction? I work for the government, you see. I'm rather lost..”
