When my opponent Pete Ricketts was Governor of Nebraska, he signed an OFFICIAL government proclamation declaring January “Human Trafficking Awareness Month." He even said human trafficking was a "modern form of slavery."

But then he voted AGAINST releasing the Epstein files in September (despite other Republicans in the Senate voting for their release).

Ricketts then did a Nebraska radio interview in July where he was asked his thoughts about the Epstein files. He said they were a "low priority." Only after there was so much public pressure was he forced to change his vote.

In the last few months, have you heard him talk about it at all!? Has he used his position of power to pressure Pam Bondi to name and arrest Epstein's co-conspirators!?

Protecting victims of human trafficking shouldn't be a low priority. Ever. Ricketts will make the proclamation. He just won't do the work when it actually matters.
