@braceletladyy I'm sorry you're getting weird DMs. My 27yo autistic daughter is interested in the task. We live near RB.
Her response when I showed her the picture was "oooh that looks fun"
Got to give a shout out to @SamAburime for including the "suggested citation" at the end of their 'Hate narratives' paper. It makes that bibliography so much easier
@mistresstailor No, because 'inspired by' is different than 'temu version of'
Your dress inspired me to try the technique on my beetlejuice dress, although I'm just a home sewist, and had to make due with knit because of a time crunch
@AdrianLopez_86@Comic_Con If you don't get badges through open enrollment, if you are local here in SD, ask around if friends are volunteering and have guaranteed purchase codes.
And if not, think about volunteering yourself.
The lottery to buy badges is always a crap shoot. Even when it works.
In 1986 we occupied the Dean’s office & built a shantytown in @Harvard Yard to force the university to divest from companies profiting from apartheid S. Africa. They threatened us with expulsion. We said, “F*uck you, we won’t do what you tell us.” Students! Thanks for keeping that tradition alive.
I am watching a toddler die on a table in a field hospital in Rafah with half her face blown apart while listening to college students fight tears reporting on a police assault on their campus for protesting that, and I feel like I am losing my fucking mind.
I do not trust Columbia University as an institution.
If the purpose of a system is what it does, then the purpose of Columbia is to maintain its hedge funds, court wealthy donors, reproduce class structure, and violently quell any dissenting call for justice.
I received an invitation to apply to @Columbia school of GS. Probably due to my honor society membership at Palomar College.
I have no interest in paying tuition to a school that has treated its most vulnerable and most passionate students as Columbia has. #FreePalestine
You have re-enacted your folly of 1968. Calling police to enact violence on peaceful protesters.
You have engaged in collective punishment, inhibiting all of your students' access to food.
Particularly off-campus resident students, who have no access to dining halls until 11am.
