As long as something doesn’t come from the Quran or Sahih Hadith, it CANNOT be attested to Islam. Islam encourages education for ALL Muslims.

And when the religion, since the time of the Prophet PBUH has allowed women to go to the mosque, it means that we are. What “majority” choose to enforce due to cultural influence doesn’t change the law that was set up.

@twstopsfreespch @aathira_vk Muslim women have been allowed pray in the mosque since the time of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH). Women outside of South Asia pray in mosques all the time. Maybe you should look into why Indian Muslim women aren’t allowed. Could it possibly be the influence of the Indian culture 😱.

@vrkiyyer @aathira_vk As an Indian that moved west, not only do I go to mosques, I have tons of resources dedicated to Muslim women. Indian women not being “allowed” in the mosque is a cultural and patriarchal thing that was absorbed from the (you guessed it) Indian culture. That’s not Islam.

So no, Muslims in Islamic countries would not act like Israelis.
