I'm fortunate to live in Orkney, a place which some describe as bleak and barren but if you know where to look there is plenty of nature to explore and enjoy.

Frogs have been busy in the our pond for the last couple of weeks It's very busy in there today, although some of the frogs seem to leaving the pond and heading off into the undergrowth I've just done a count and there are at least 137 frogs!!
New record count of 95 frogs in my garden pond this morning.
They are very active today despite the strong cold wind blowing them about a bit.
