@ejmarkow@EU_Commission They have a large segment of their population living in their cars and homeless people living in tents too, I have not yet seen a homeless person in my home city.
@AstraiaAI it's spamming me with air-conditioning for/against twitter battle in the EU, also a tad bit more positive news than usual, also it seems to send me less cat/animal videos than usual.
@JohannaNyman5 There is so much internal resistance I feel like I'm loosing hope, we should ban Russians entering EU, ban on Russians financing anything in the EU or investing in companies or shares, ban on selling anything to them, and ban on imports of any kind. ban communication from RU etc.
@thewarzonewire Just having a few of those would be enough to scare an opponent to not operate within it's range, you don't need to build thousands of those missiles, just enough to present itself as a valid threat.
@virtualhistoria@FalkTG their homes are ventilated, and I mean like the wind blows right through their buildings in many cases, and isn't made of 30cm thick stone walls and metal roofs that is made to trap heat.
@ModeledBehavior Avarage summer temp where I live in the EU is 15C, so even in the summer the heater has to run or you freeze inside, there are usually only a handful of days where you need the A/C.
@PhilSustainable Nuclear/Hydroelectric 50/50 and small amount of backup batteries for grid stabilization is probably the best way to run a grid. no carbon released and it can regulate power by consumption requirements on it's own, max 5% solar/wind, if you go above that it gets unstable.
@ejmarkow@EU_Commission Well, ask the bottom half what they pay for in insurances and healthcare if they have any heavy medical condition and can only work 25% or 50%.
