Jake Dickert was fired up about the lack of respect shown to WSU on ESPN this morning saying Lee Corso called today’s game the “No one watches Bowl” This is 1:32 well worth your time to hear Coach fight for his team
They have these pillows everywhere in X offices and they call the symbols the double-X (left) and the round-X (right).

“The reason Silicon Valley is so successful is because it’s so f’n far from DC.”
Must watch talk by @bgurley. Here’s the TL;DR:
When the Telecommunications Act of 1996 was passed, it brought the entire startup telecom industry to zero.
When Dodd-Frank was passed in 2010, it brought the number of new banks per year to zero.
When the Health Info Tech Act was passed on 2009, it entrenched Epic’s marketshare and drove competitors out of business.
When the US regulated rapid COVID tests, the result was 20x fewer providers and 6x higher costs than western peers.
And you think the result will be any different when we regulate AI and other technology??
We’re empirically unbelievably bad at regulating, and regulatory capture is here for tech. The big tech and AI incumbents are pushing to restrict the playing field. Get your head out of your a**.
“Regulation is the friend of the incumbent…. leading to a net loss for society.”

Most people live their lives in between these 2 emotions-
1- Hope that if they achieve something, they will find happiness.
2- Fear that if they lose what they have, they will never be happy.
The day you understand neither of them are actually true is the day you are free.
70,000 people trapped in a desert by extreme rain, running out of food, with rumors of disease spreading, and porta-johns overflowing - but determined to keep the party going, is such a great metaphor for our civilization right now.
