privacy hooks are now live.
arrive from a fresh wallet funded straight from Zcash. launch quietly and take your fees straight back to your Zcash wallet.

to those asking: yes, we’re aware of the holder on fomo. we’ll be addressing it later today.
at no point will we give up on $BURR or burrpad because of this. there’s always a way to make it work, and we’re working on it atm.
@burrpad How do you view the issue of a single user holding more than 10% of the supply? Would you give up on the token contract or project because of this?
we're doing some final testing on a new hook and it's looking likely to go live in the next 12hrs.
a few more will go from the building stage to the testing stage at some point today.
if you have a idea and want a custom made hook please submit it here:

→ 209.9M $BURR burned, 20.9% of the supply
→ 5.52 ZEC (~$6.8k) paid out to holders
→ burrdex live, with $6.8k+ swapped
now it’s time to keep shipping.
important reminder as to why we built burrpad
our mission is to bring zcash’s privacy to the solana trenches: the speed you’re used to, with a private way in and a private way out.
that’s why every coin on burrpad trades against zec.
how it works:
→ fill a burrpad account straight from your zcash wallet
→ launch and trade from that account, kept apart from your main wallet
→ sell, and send the zec straight back out to a shielded zcash address
→ or swap any of 195 coins across 36 chains privately on burrdex
hooks:
every coin carries hooks which are rules chosen by the launcher and fixed at launch. a coin’s creator fee can pay its creator, pay its holders, buy back and burn its own supply, or support a cause.
half of every creator fee goes to the platform, where 80% of it buys back and burns $BURR. every burrdex fee goes 100% to buying back and burning $BURR.
the goal:
privacy as the default, not an extra step.
demand for privacy is growing fast, and zcash is leading it. burrpad’s aim is to be where that demand meets the trenches, and to capture a real share of it through every launch, trade and swap that runs through us.
this is only the start, we will share more soon.

3 hours since burrdex went live and it’s already done $5k+ in swap volume.
every swap buys back and burns $BURR.
any coin to any coin, privately, across 36 chains.
https://t.co/E3paLeCOOr
burrdex runs on near intents.
near intents moved ~$145M in the last 24 hours and ~$4.8B in the last 30 days.
if burrdex routes just 0.1% of that:
→ ~$4.8M in swaps a month
→ ~$48k a month in fees
→ 100% of it buying back and burning $BURR
that’s the vision: launch a coin on burrpad, with hooks or as a standard launch, collect creator fees from every trade, and move in and out privately across 36 chains, all in one place.

and for those asking, this is the buyback & burn wallet for every dollar burrdex makes (it runs about every hour as fees build up):

introducing burrdex
swap anything to anything, privately. btc, eth, sol, usdc, zec and 190 more across 36 chains.
1% fee on all swaps, 100% of fees going to buyback and burn of $BURR making it our third buyback engine.

the numbers so far:
→ 24 coins launched
→ 1,083 ZEC traded (~$1.19M) across 20k+ trades
→ 13.3 ZEC (~$14.6k) spent buying back $BURR across both engines
→ 18.9% of supply burned (189M)
→ 4.61 ZEC (~$5,070) paid out to holders
we’ve also shipped shielded exit since the last stats update: sell any coin and the zec lands straight in a shielded zcash address.
more hooks are on the way.
burrpad coins now cash out to shielded zcash
pick zcash wallet when you sell, paste your u1 address, and the zec arrives shielded
works from your solana wallet or your burrpad account

fee hooks decide where a coin’s fee goes. privacy hooks decide how you arrive and how you leave.
if you’re planning a launch and want a custom made hook, submit your idea through our hooks page or DM us directly.
view every hook and submit yours here: https://t.co/yuyrVNfWS0
onchain, your main wallet is you. every launch, every trade, every transfer leads back to it, and anyone can follow the trail.
that’s why we built privacy hooks.
arrive with $ZEC straight from a Zcash wallet into a fresh wallet that has never touched your old one. launch or trade from it. when you’re done, take your fees back out to Zcash.
the trading itself is still public. but where you came from and where you leave to are private.
Zcash has spent years building private money. Solana is where coins launch and trade and our mission is to connect the two.
4 hours later, the numbers:
→ 22 coins launched
→ 954 ZEC traded (~$1.1M) across 17,478 trades
→ 11.82 ZEC (~$13.6k) spent buying back solana:GiwMfYS4jHi256G8K41snZhKUovrMbyQL2hqv3fqr7WU across both engines
→ 16.73% of supply burned (167.3M)
→ 3.98 ZEC (~$4,580) paid out to holders
we have also shipped privacy hooks + an upgraded buyback & burn hook.
hooks now run all the way from the solana eco to zcash’s privacy, and we’re only just scratching the surface of whats possible.
we're 2 hours in and here are the numbers:
→ 16 coins launched
→ 378 ZEC traded (~$437k)
→ 6.41% of $BURR’s supply burned (64.1M)
→ 1.52 ZEC paid out to holders
→ 1.66 ZEC queued for the next $BURR buybacks
→ 1.53 ZEC queued in $BURR’s own burn hook
https://t.co/4mBun8DfyQ
both $BURR burn engines are now running side by side.
the protocol buyback, funded by platform fees, has done 24 buybacks so far, spending 6.0 ZEC (~$7,000) and burning 41.6M $BURR, with another 1.16 ZEC (~$1,350) queued.
https://t.co/ZF8iDHrSnT
the buyback & burn hook, which takes 0.5% of every $BURR trade, fires up to once a minute. it holds off during sharp price spikes so it can’t be gamed, and currently has 3.12 ZEC (~$3,640) queued.
https://t.co/44K36Ufm2U
12.38% of $BURR’s supply has been burned so far.
we’ve made some adjustments to $BURR’s buyback & burn hook (0.5% of every $BURR trade).
the hook has guardrails built in to stop anyone frontrunning or gaming it: it won’t chase sharp spikes, and each buy is limited to a small slice of the pool, so it never moves the price enough to be gamed.
it starts buying in the next ~30 minutes (based on price and other factors), once a minute, at ~0.013 ZEC per buy and stepping up 5% each buy until it reaches ~0.1 ZEC per minute (it scales with the pool as $BURR grows).
since the initial 5% burnt and the adjustments made, 2.7 ZEC (~$3,100) has been collected and waiting to be bought back & burnt.
this runs alongside the protocol buybacks, which have already burnt 26M+ $BURR.
we're 2 hours in and here are the numbers:
→ 16 coins launched
→ 378 ZEC traded (~$437k)
→ 6.41% of $BURR’s supply burned (64.1M)
→ 1.52 ZEC paid out to holders
→ 1.66 ZEC queued for the next $BURR buybacks
→ 1.53 ZEC queued in $BURR’s own burn hook
https://t.co/4mBun8DfyQ
first $BURR holder payout is done: 0.91 ZEC (~$1,090) paid out to 195 holders in ZEC.
snapshot is always taken at a random moment, the full list published and its fingerprint written onchain before a single payment went out.
hold at least ~$20 of $BURR to be included in the payouts.
payouts fire roughly every 30 minutes.
the first protocol buyback & burn just landed: 0.25 ZEC bought $BURR and burned 3.82M tokens (0.38% of supply).
it took a few tries to fire because of fail safes we built in to stop anyone front running the buys.
buybacks now fire roughly every 5 minutes, up to 0.25 ZEC each.
1.76 ZEC (~$2,100) still queued to buy back $BURR.
