Wil of Steel, our blacksmith, is back demonstrating the art and skills of blacksmithing in our forge on Sunday (23rd June), this time with apprentice Ryan. They will be smithing all day and doing timed talks at 11am, 1pm and 3pm.
Museum open 10am-4pm, last admission 3pm.
Give Dad an early Fathers Day present and bring him to the museum on Saturday to see our blacksmith, Wil of Steel, demonstrate in our forge.
If you can't make it on Saturday bring him on Sunday, but Wil won't be there.

We hope you all had a good Christmas and New Year.
The museum opens on Easter Sunday.

By this time 10 years ago, as part of the restoration of Stevens' Mill, the cap (29th Aug) & sails (10th Dec) had been put back on the mill. Here's some photos and videos from those 2 momentous occasions. Cap on video https://t.co/ODrJweKbQ3

Today is our last day open in 2023.
This is your last chance to visit us this year and rather than go out with a whimper we’re going out with a bang, or rather lots of bangs as we have got our blacksmith demonstrating in the Forge! https://t.co/iyNHioTUAo
Just 2 more open days for us this year! Thursday 25th and Sunday 29th October.
No event on Thursday, but on Sunday our blacksmith, Wil of Steel, will be demonstrating in the Forge. Lots of local history books for sale in the kiosk and tearoom.
