@HSBC_UK The previous app was one reason to recommend HSBC. Now it's a reason to leave, I'm afraid. It's that much of a backward step, I just don't see what the improvement was meant to be. Are you trying to drive people back to the high street? I assume not.
@thetimes@ALutkin We are all alone. But regarding your question of "is being alone (single) the new normal?", well, we'd need percentages. Likely not, in the sense that is inferred, that being single is anywhere near becoming the majority status. Being single is undeniably normal however.
@streathamaction 2/2 Funny how the rules change and the next day there's 7 enforcement officers on my street.. Feels like entrapment, I for one received no notification of the rule change (although there was a consultation last summer) - and now we have two tickets :-)
@streathamaction question - am I the only one that feels the new parking permit rules on the side streets around SHR were surreptitiously introduced? 1/2
@Ryan04619856 @planet4589 Not a huge chance of a plane crashing over the Atlantic either but it happens. Anyway, no expert but gravity likely has something to do with it. Don't we all gravitate to the fat white guy when we're lost & lonely?
@planet4589 Spacejunk, the littering of our visual atmosphere with 10,000s of teeny pointless flying objects - these are intended consequences and they are bad enough. This shows that there are also unintended consequences from our continued, frivolous, unfettered, vomit into near-space.
@trussliz The clearly seventeenth iteration of this statement, as posted, is just a jumble of words. There's no meaning here. No one knows what to believe any more - but we see through statements like these. Just be honest. #noconfidence in Liz, sorry :-(
@ZoeTheBall I sent you the 'wrong' link. The previous also a good song but this is what I meant by togetherness, longing and love https://t.co/gsVrDr1JX3
@ZoeTheBall while we are all apart from eachother, I thought this was a nice way to remind ourselves that while we are alone, we do love eachother (not you and me.. People who have lost something, and feel frail)

@bbclaurak 2/2 There's a national emergency and we should be talking about local and national government, right? What are our leaders doing - good or bad - not what their advisers decide is a good day to leave their job? I don't understand.
@bbclaura Hi Laura.. Sorry I'm new to this. Could someone explain why govt advisors take up more of the news than elected officials do? I won't even ask what the whole contretemps was about. 1/2
@WilliamJHague please just come back and lead us. Not the party, not the politics, but the opportunity to make a difference. Be the leader a UK common consciousness desires. Be PM.
