@bluebell_1982 @FirstManchester I totally agree. All those people are under paid. But it’s up to them to stand up and fight for their worth. If we all just roll over and accept what is thrown at us, then we’re in big trouble.
Don’t attack the workers. Attack the fat cats!
@michaelredpath2@KyleeMumof4 @FirstManchester You think the union works for the company? 🤣
The union works for the drivers. They voted overwhelmingly to strike, due to the derisory pay offer from First Manchester!
This isn’t the fault of the drivers OR the union. It’s the fault of First Manchester. End of story.
@bluebell_1982 @FirstManchester “Greed”?? Are you serious? Bus drivers are highly trained professionals. First Manchester drivers haven’t had a pay rise in almost 3 years. They’re paid LESS than Stagecoach & Go North West.
Don’t blame the drivers. Blame First Manchester!
@StuHamm@plested_daniel @FirstManchester Your start time at work is not an ‘estimated’ start time though, is it?
Whereas the time the bus is due at Sale Lane bus stop IS an estimated time. You’re advised to be at the stop at least 5 mins before the bus is due.
Not excuses, just facts.
@Brettboy79 @FirstManchester Not making any excuses, it’s just basic facts. We don’t carry cleaners around with us all day. Fault lies with the disgusting idiot who left it on the bus. Simple as that.
@CaitlinMcClare @FirstManchester Did you try to buy it using contactless?
Due to a significant increase in fraudulent transactions, the purchase of any bus weeklys is currently cash only.
@JordanHajian @FirstManchester If you can’t be bothered to obtain an exemption card, but then complain when a driver asks you to produce one, then - quite frankly, you’re an idiot!
@jack123dobbo @FirstManchester Hi Jack. The services are not being removed. They’re simply not serving Piccadilly. Presumably they’ll terminate somewhere else in or near the city centre.
@Emloveswhat @FirstManchester Ignore @FirstManchester! 🤦🏻♂️
King Street is NOT closed. The 409 heading to Ashton is not serving Oldham Bus Station, and is instead stopping at King Street (which is open)
