£12.71 is not an unreasonable wage to pay people doing retail.
@JoshHousden The Lib Dems share of the vote was basically exactly proportional to their vote count in 2024. Basically Ed's strategy of targeting seats managed to get a proportional result.
@jakonian AMS only works with 1 ballot. On Scotland, the regional list using the dhont method just results in blocks of voters splitting their votes solely to game the system.
I feel like America could just solve the gerrymandering issue by having 4 times more representatives. It's a lot harder to Gerrymander smaller districts, e.g it's not a problem in the U.K.
@abs1k_ Only good thing about working in the civil service is the pension. Take that away and your running the government for about £3 more an hour than working at mcdonalds.
