Sizlere genç, başarılı ve gelecekte adını sıklıkla duyacağımız bir akademisyeni takdim etmek isterim: Dr. Buse Düveroğlu! @buseduveroglu
Yolun açık olsun 👏👏👏
📌Reading of the week: In their collaborative work, our PhD Candidate @buseduveroglu and faculty member @efetokdemir examine the impact of leader tenure on the strategic choices of countering insurgency in a recently published article @terpolv

This article contributes significantly to conflict studies by explicitly exploring the impact of leader-level factors on COIN, revealing the varied influence of leaders’ experiences on decision-making in this context. You can check it out here: https://t.co/xAwFvLJfuK
We also focus on how political constraints on incumbents could moderate this effect. The effect is conditional on regime type. Leaders’ activities vary depending on whether they serve in a democracy or an anocracy as their tenure in office changes.
Our article w/@buseduveroglu - PhD_Cand @BilkentIRDept, soon to be graduated ;) - is online first now @terpolv. We have examined the impact of leader tenure on COIN strategies (free 50 copies https://t.co/TFvwCklBiV). Great pleasure to work with a rising scholar in the field.
