I love how Rosemary didn’t put her camera away when things went wrong. Today, I think we like to post only the “pretty” parts of our trips. But her photos have a “rawness” to them that feels real. It has an edge. One blister, one rainy day, one flat tire, one muddy dog at a time.
This is Rosemary. Her carefully sequenced collection of over ~2,500 Kodachrome slides span a period from about 1970-1987. These are only about a third of 100 different slide presentations she would share at schools, churches, libraries, and nursing homes. 🧵
@SMerulla40195@TheSpec For the pedestrian fatalities? It wasn't all on you, Sam, your shit tended to kill more car drivers. How's the pavement? Still state of the art? ☠️ ☠️ ☠️
Thrilled to celebrate SACHA's 50th anniversary last night with members of the community! Sexual Assault Centre Hamilton has been doing vital work for half a century in #HamOnt and we are proud supporters!
@willmenaker@yeselson Thanks Will! Moral clarity tough to come by these days. Imagine defending someone because he reads (not even books, just that he reads posts)
This well-known Canadian génocidaire is infamous for his work platforming racism as an editor at Free Bird Media, Russia Insider, "The Post Millennial" at now at True North Centre. He's also, amusingly, a hugely frustrated poet who wrote seriously and poorly for many years.
All you basically have to do to be an acclaimed Canadian "poet" like Rupi Kaur is claim you have some protected identity and write some shitty "poems" about your vagina or something.
I spent like fifteen minutes writing these poems on the bus. The third one is about queefing
Sometimes it doesn't take long to discover the answer to Oh Honey, What Radicalized You. Cosmin wanted to write poetry and wasn't any good at it, and he saw a similarly untalented poet gain notoriety by trading partly on identity, and now he wants to murder and deport them all
