Business Makers is building a Christian business community, which means we are building a Christian economy, the parallel economy, whatever you want to call it, but in one sense I don’t care what we call it. We absolutely should be building a Christian economy that is based off biblical principles, that includes biblical views of economics, moral principles, and a way of business that recovers the protestant work ethic along with a postmil desire to take dominion over the areas and responsibilities God has placed before us as business leaders.
But here is the big idea: the Christian economy is the basis in which we serve the whole world. It is not a retreat economy, it’s not an exclusive economy, it is the groundwork in which our businesses serve as far as your market can reach. A thoroughly Christian economy is what builds an anti-fragile position in which to serve the rest of the economy. If we build this correctly, and things go wrong in the world, like COVID, we will still have a strong foundation and an economy in which we can function. The Muslims do this, the Jews do this, all sorts of groups have their own business network, but Christians are so independent to our own detriment. COVID exposed how vulnerable we were not being connected to a broader Christian business network. Business Makers is changing that, so DM me if you want to talk further about what we are doing!

We are excited to be launching, what we hope to become, the largest Christian business network that is full of courageous leaders who understand that making money and building profitable businesses are noble callings. Money makes a great tool, and horrible God.
