Today, BMC staff & our community gathered to observe a moment of silence for the countless black men, women & children whose lives have been lost due to the consequences of systemic #racism.
We are committed to fight for racial justice, today and always. #WhiteCoatsForBlackLives
Finding the ‘bad apples’ and offering bias training isn’t enough for police communities to combat racial violence; we must look at the location— and its racial segregation, says @BUSPH professor @mbsiegel

We might have had a #virtual ceremony, but our new graduates still found a way to #celebrate in their own way. Congratulations to recent #graduate, Dr. Cindy Yang!

It is with deep sadness that we share the loss of Lance Martin from the @BUMedicine Diversity & Inclusion Office. Lance was the warm & friendly face that welcomed students, and many of our alumni, on a daily basis. Our hearts go out to the community, especially the EMSSP family.
Will McKeen, MD (MED’20) graduated med school & mastered the art of baking cakes. “Quarantine boredom strikes again. First inaugural bake off!” he wrote to caption the mouthwatering mirror glazed cakes. DM us for the triple chocolate mousse cake recipe! Will says it’s “easy.” 😉
Today would have been the day we welcomed BUSM grads into the alumni community, but we got to do that much sooner than we anticipated because of #COVID19. Here’s a #throwbackthursday of Dr. Fauci giving the keynote address at the 2017 BUSM Commencement.

Right about now, I would have been ending my last class of the year, on DSDs, but really on inclusivity medicine. It actually would have been the last class for the M1’s year too. I miss seeing the @BUMedicine students in person and marking this milestone with you.
“Do not thank me— thank my wife. My wife who is today 32 weeks pregnant with our first child. Behind every essential personnel, pharmacist, nurse, doctor ... is a legion of loved ones. Thank them.” Read reflections by @mhsherman (MED’15) & more alumni at: https://t.co/ftisu0UkqK
