The @PNHP annual conference comes to a close with a march to the now shuttered Atlanta Medical Center — a 450 bed hospital that abruptly closed last year, leaving communities in the lurch for care and the city with only a single remaining level I trauma center.

Medicare for All is now 20 for 20 in the Dem primary.

That is, 20 states have now voted for president & been asked in exit polls if they prefer private health insurance or single payer. All 20 said single payer — by an average margin of over 20 pts.

we started our conversations by asking people what they think of our current healthcare system, and we heard all about the expensive premiums, drawn out fights with insurance companies, high deductibles... single payer is the solution, and we need it now!

Our SNaHP team had a successful canvassing day talking to folks all over Boston about why we need Medicare For All! Lots of great convos with Massachusetts primary voters, and a few with visitors from Canada and Britain wishing us luck :)
