@BangerCarlos Dude, I’m in Alabama. I just don’t understand the hate spiral over something as joyful as this precious German visitor. You connecting that to democrats and the north and their assumed sentiments is baffling. As my grandmother would say, bless your heart, I’m gonna pray for you.
@finebaum As an Alum of TTU, I’m not thrilled. Tech was finally getting something and ruins it in order to play someone that needs mental help not a chance to relapse. I’ve equal concerns re: a lack of action by or toward Cinn/IU. And why didn’t the NCAA step in to disallow the transfer?
@kirbyhocutt@TexasTechFB I also support his recovery. However, when situations require lengthy explanations to justify outcomes then the outcome needs to be reevaluated.
And the optics are terrible.
Sixty one years ago brave foot soldiers crossed the Edmund Pettus Bridge in a peaceful demonstration to attain voting rights, only to be met by state troopers with billy clubs. After a great event with folks in Selma this morning we stopped by the bridge to remind folks that Alabama is still ground zero for voting rights. We hope you join us in Montgomery tomorrow for the All Roads Lead to the South rally at the State Capitol at 1pm and then make your voices heard by voting on Tuesday.
@BeschlossDC@SabirahLohn In 2015, I ran into him, then PoW, and then VP Joe Biden in a hallway off the Capitol Rotunda. To this day, I remember the surreal in that ordinary moment of hustle and bustle.
