It's been 5 years and the world is still divided by those that believe cloth masks were effective against a virus and those of us that realized most people were dumber than we ever imagined.
GenX was the last generation of feral children, we had no mobile phones, our parents did not check on us every 5 minutes, we rode our bikes after school until dinner, did some homework then went out again until bedtime. No one locked their doors at home or cars at night. Looking back, I feel blessed to have such freedoms, something unfortunately ensuing generations will never have.
As soon as anyone tries to sell you "whole life" insurance you should cut them out of your life immediately.
Fire them if they are your advisor.
Remove them from the group chat if they are your buddy.
It should be criminal.
Today, during a casual conversation, an elderly lady shared something that deeply moved me. She told me that her husband had recently passed away, but they had decided together not to have a funeral. The reason? Their family always had an excuse not to visit or even call. So, they chose not to "burden" their busy lives by making them attend a funeral.
But what truly shocked me was when she revealed that she hadn’t even notified the family of his passing. I asked how they would react when they eventually found out, and after a brief pause, she firmly said:
"If they didn’t care enough to see or speak to him while he was here, I refuse to let them see or speak about him now that he’s gone."
She explained that her husband was an excellent cook and always invited them to dinner. But the response was always the same: "I’m busy," or worse, complete silence. Holidays, birthdays, anniversaries… always ignored.
After much prayer, she made a bold decision: she sold their home and belongings, moved to a small apartment in the city, and started anew.
Then, she looked me in the eyes and said something I will never forget:
"Darling, when you realize you are no longer important to someone – even family – you have to make yourself the most important thing."
At that moment, my heart broke, but I also realized I had just met the most courageous person I have ever known.
Did I hear this correctly? Democrat women will wear PINK to the Trump speech tonight?? The same democrats who voted AGAINST protecting girls and women in sports?
You can’t make it up.
Dear democratic politicians ... not standing for Laken Riley's family or the fire fighter who fostered numerous kids makes you look like total
A$$Holes
The US Treasury can't track $4.7 trillion in payments.
Medicare sent $2.7 trillion overseas to people that weren't eligible.
Pentagon lost track $2.5 trillion.
Social Security sends $100 billion a year to people with no identity.
Department of Education spends $50 billion a year to make your kids gay.
USAID spends $50 billion a year to make everybody else gay.
That's over a third of the National Debt right there, and it's only been 3 weeks.
This is all blatant fraud.
And liberals are defending this.
"Nobody voted for Elon and DOGE"
The fuck I didn't...
This is exactly what I voted for.
I want my fucking money back.
I want to see some fucking perp walks.
I want to make sure this never happens again.
For all her grandstanding this morning at @RobertKennedyJr senate hearings - according to the Open Secrets website that tracks and publishes data on campaign finance and lobbying @SenWarren has taken roughly 1.6 million from the pharma and healthcare industry. The best part is that she took some from Purdue and the Sackler family who are single handedly responsible for the opioid crisis - but after getting called out she said she'd donate $4,500.00 to make it right. People like YOU @SenWarren are the exact reason people like myself want RFK jr confirmed.
