@whop My business balance has been pending for well over a week, showing “Settling 2 AM” every day with no progress. I also can’t transfer it to my Business Card, and there seems to be no way to reach a human for support. Can someone please help?
ok ok, 1 last tweet I promise.
I realized the most surprising result was not included in the MIT TR article. You can read the details in the paper (fig17), and I will just leave the figure here. FIN/
I need people to focus on the real issue here: the value of creative labor, aka jobs. This is not about whether or not it qualifies as "art", whether or not it looks bad, etc. All of that is a just a distraction when we live in a world where we need to work to in order to live.
What a betrayal to all the incredible artists at Marvel Studios. If you’re in Hollywood and you still don’t know how AI works, learn. Learn how it exploits all of your peers, and that is not copyrightable work.
Its not over btw, there is too much to do. But this is egregious.
today I saw a cover artist say she usually gets 12 book covers a year, and this year she got only 2. Now this game studio has kicked out all their artists and replaced with AI. We are losing our jobs in real time. You should 100% boycott any company using AI and pirate their IPs
Artists are losing jobs in real time from a technology that has been trained off of all of our data/art without permission, consent or even credit. We needed regulations yesterday. BOYCOTT any company using GenAi for using this unethical and non-copyrightable infringing imagery
My hot take is that Ch*tGPT is free right now because it needs you to feed it your stories, essays, and poems for free, and when it’s done taking all you have, they’ll put it all behind a paywall.
This article truly reflects the conversations I’ve had with students and folks who wish to make a living out of art. Those who are starting out see this tech clearly, as theft tools that do not hope to assist but to replace the artists it steals from.

1/4) I saw artists demystifying paintings, so I thought I would too.
This is a painting I did in 2019 for Omega Academy. It took me 24-35 hours roughly to finish. This was when I was on a curve of learning to draw better (not that great at drawing) and slow
Glaze is out now!
Glaze is a program that will mask your artwork in AI/ML. No company should be able to steal your artwork now.
This is an important step in the right direction for protection of a vulnerable creative field.

Multimillion $ tech companies stealing art/culture created by the working class, then selling it back to us for a subscription, while eliminating jobs and further marginalizing minorities & LGTBQ visibility is THE most dystopian shit. The privileged call it “Democratization”
Only a few of the comments I got yesterday with the release of Glaze.
I’d like to remind you that all Glaze does is add noise so an image cannot be directly copied in Ai.
You are not entitled to our artwork.
1/ This might be the most important oil painting I’ve made:
Musa Victoriosa
The first painting released to the world that utilizes Glaze, a protective tech against unethical AI/ML models, developed by the @UChicago team led by @ravenben. App out now 👇
